Macgregor programs

START Program at MacGregor Public Library START Program at MacGregor Public Library - START stands for Set Time Aside to Read Together. You and your child will enjoy lots of interactive and hands-on literacy activities. Sessions run on Mondays at 9:30 am. Call Antoinette at MacGregor Library for more information.

Stay and Play program at MacGregor Multi-Plex - Stay and Play takes place on Thursday mornings, twice a month. Children will have the opportunity to use creative thinking, be involved in literacy activities, and socialize with other children. A chance for moms and caregivers to interact with their child and with each other!

Langruth language party

Held at Langruth Elementary School, several times throughout the school year. Parties are held five times a year, please contact the school for details. Parents and children will enjoy a story, craft, and other activities based on a seasonal theme. Snack provided as well. All children receive a free book and take home activity.

Gladstone programs

Kit and Kaboodle runs on Tuesday mornings at Gladstone Elementary, come and enjoy activities, songs, rhymes, games, and books with your child and a snack is provided.

Healthy Baby at Gladstone United Church Annex Healthy Baby at Gladstone United Church Annex on the second and fourth Monday of each month (except October - because of the Thanksgiving holiday, the program will run on the first and third Monday). This program is open to pregnant moms, or moms with a child under the age of 1. Join other moms in a supportive environment to learn about healthy pregnancies, nutrition, parenting, and other issues that are important to you. Free childcare provided for your older
child(ren) and a healthy snack.

Kit and Kaboodle at Gladstone United Church Annex on Tuesdays at 6:00 (September 30th to November 4th). An evening to enrich language and literacy through songs, games, and book sharing.

All of the above activities are provided absolutely free of charge and are open to parents and caregivers of pre-school children.

Nursery School programs for 3 and 4 year olds are offered in Gladstone Elementary School, Austin Elementary School, Plumas Elementary School, and MacGregor Elementary School.
